Sielo Voted Into 2017 Global Cleantech 100

Sielo, a leader in the design and manufacture of commercial LED lighting products and building control systems, has been named in the 2017 Global Cleantech 100. Nominations and proprietary research data from the Cleantech Group (CTG) were analyzed by a group of experts to select the final list.

“We are honored to be named to the Global Cleantech 100. To be selected from such a large candidate pool by an elite group of cleantech experts speaks volumes about the dedication and inventive thinking of the Sielo team,” said Sielo CEO, Steve Hane. “Lighting, power and data are converging in cleantech; modernizing existing buildings and enabling them to become smarter, more efficient, and more effective.”

According to CTG, the companies in the list represent the most innovative and promising ideas in cleantech that are best positioned to solve tomorrow’s clean technology challenges. A record-breaking number of nominations were made this year, CTG reported, 9,900 companies from 77 countries.

“From day one, the purpose of the Global Cleantech 100 program was to act as our barometric read on how the many facets that contribute to the emergence and maturing of an innovation theme, like cleantech, (the “doing of more with less”) are changing year on year,” says Richard Youngman, CEO, CTG.
