Kent joined Sielo in 2010, bringing with him a proven background in high tech product qualification, regulatory compliance, and quality management. In his career, he has directly contributed to the success of companies ranging from a small consumer electronics start-up, to a $200 million/year tape storage and automation provider. He’s held product safety engineering positions at Underwriters Laboratories Inc.and Nemko USA, where he evaluated the safety of information technology equipment, industrial controls, and medical devices. At Sielo, Kent has been instrumental in implementing predictive reliability tools and acceleration models that not only demonstrate and improve the reliability of our products, but enable Sielo to offer a true “industry leading” 10 year product warranty. His also directly managed the development and implementation of Sielo’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification. He is an alumni of Regis University.

What project are you most proud of working on at Sielo, why?

I’ve had the fortune being directly involved with every product offered by Sielo, each of which I’m proud of. Our LEDSENSE portfolio, however, has been truly transformative. Not only can we talk and listen to lighting, we can interact with a building’s environment…and respond.
